SFC’s Volunteer Spotlight ~ Eleonore!

MEET ELEONORE!

Eleonore started volunteering at SFC at the beginning of December, and is now one of our regular volunteers! Eleonore found out about SFC from a parishioner at the Holy Family Catholic Church in South Pasadena, and wanted to volunteer at the center to connect with our guests, and get to know them over time.

“It is in giving, that you receive.”

Eleonore’s favorite part about volunteering is sharing smiles, inspiration, humor, and stories with our guests, volunteers, and staff members. She also enjoys the warm and friendly setting that is present at SFC.

“I hope that St. Francis Center continues to provide a base of nourishment – body, mind, spirit – for our guests.”

In her spare time, Eleonore likes to run, bike, play the piano, and visit family in Spokane and Washington D.C.

A fun fact about Elenore: she is an avid mountain climber and has summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Whitney, and thirteen other 14,000 ft. peaks in the United States!
